Illinois auto insurance
The state of Illinois law requires that if your car has license plates and is being driven on Illinois public roads, it has to be insured. This includes motor vehicles like cars, motorcycles, RVs, trucks, vans and buses.
The minimum required insurance liability in the state of Illinois are below:
* Injury or death of one person in an accident: $20,000
* Injury or death of more than one person in an accident: $40,000
* Damage to someone else’s property: $15,000
However,the minimum coverage may not cover the costs accident, especially if you are at fault. The minimum coverage liability does not cover your own injuries or property damage at all.
